Karleah Del Moral
Freelance director and cinematographer based in New York City.
BA in Film and Media Studies from Hunter College CUNY.
Director/ Producer Karleah has directed two short films TRADECRAFT (2017) awarded Best Crime Drama at the Indie Gathering Festival 2018 and COME NIGHTFALL (2020) which is just entering the festival circuit. She has directed several branded content projects for companies such as KILL DEVIL, EXTECK, and BLACK SURFING ASSOCIATION: ROCKAWAY. She has expanded to direct music videos and performance pieces for independent artists. She has recently collaborated with fire eater Aurelia Anne Cohen and is currently working on a music video for emerging singer Dezzy Adams. As a producer, she has worked closely on the narrative feature IN CASE OF EMERGENCY (2016) which won the Bushwick Choice Award for favorite feature at the 2018 Bushwick Film Festival.
Cinematographer As a cinematographer, Karleah has focused her attention to study the relationships between meaning, movement and light. Driven by a mixture of experience and instinct, she strives to find frames that hold meaning, while aligning with the creative vision of the director and the project at hand.
